Introducing our new denim over shirts! These completely custom shirts are made exclusively for Blissfully Bookish and are designed to be oversized. They are comfy 100% cotton denim and the perfect lightweight bookish shirt to throw on while on the go and each shirt includes a ton of embroidery details that give it a lot of character! These shirts are lighter weight than a denim jacket and include a more flexible material, great for those in warmer climates or who want something they can wear in warmer months.

Our Night Owl Book Club design is embroidered on light blue denim and includes star and moon details. The perfect vibe for those looking to channel a 90’s mom look with a bookish twist! The left pocket reads “I read past my bedtime.”

Sizing Details

Processing Time: This item is a pre-order item and our processing time is extended from our normal timeframe, so please plan accordingly! After our pre-order time frame closes, we place the bulk order with our manufacturer, once they complete the items, they are shipped to us and we require a few additional days to get them on their way to their new homes. Please familiarize yourself with the shipping timeframe for this preorder (found at the top of the listing) before placing your order, as it is an additional timeframe from the shipping selection you make at checkout. Pre-Order items will ship separately from made-to-order items and will ship with other in-stock items, subscription items, and pre-order items. Please keep in mind that all of your other limited edition items will be held until your pre-order item is ready to ship. If you need your other items sooner, we recommend placing a separate order containing only your pre-order item.

Care Instructions for Embroidered Items

With the proper care, your new shirt can last for many years! Just please keep in mind that the original manufacturer’s care instructions found on the inside of the tee don’t take into consideration the embroidery that has been added to the shirt. Embroidered apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn’t use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.

We recommend hanging your new shirt to dry or laying it flat to dry. We do not recommend drying embroidered products in the dryer. Even the lowest setting may cause a little shrinkage in the item causing the embroidery to bunch up. If this happens you can turn the shirt inside out and iron against the back of the shirt or use steam to help even out the area and mitigate the effects of the dryer.
