With the proper care, your new shirt can last for many years! Just please keep in mind that the original manufacturer’s care instructions found on the inside of the tee don’t take into consideration the embroidery that has been added to the shirt. Embroidered apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn’t use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.

We recommend hanging your new shirt to dry or laying it flat to dry. We do not recommend drying embroidered products in the dryer. Even the lowest setting may cause a little shrinkage in the item causing the embroidery to bunch up. If this happens you can turn the shirt inside out and iron against the back of the shirt or use steam to help even out the area and mitigate the effects of the dryer.

The sweater is perfect! It’s great quality and the embroidery is amazing. The owner Kathryn was also so nice and helpful. She gave washing instructions and shipping information. She was so personable and I loved that! Also wore it to a signing with the author and she loved it right away which was also fun.
